If there is such a thing as a standard or "vanilla" sale and purchase they are rarely seen in practice - no two matters are precisely the same. In this session Tony Cahill will consider several issues which may make a transaction less than straightforward:
* Purchaser in early possession
* Vendor to remain in possession after settlement
* Perils with lengthy/extended settlements
* Disputes about whether vacant possession is provided
* Death and disability additional provisions - both generally and for clients who "may not make it"
* Changes of contract details (parties, price etc) after exchange |
